My Approach
I offer a warm, respectful, and down-to-earth space where you can talk openly, without judgement.
As a psychotherapist, I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic, and relational theories. This allows us to work flexibly and responsively, depending on what you bring to each session.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and collaboration is key to meaningful change. I’ll walk alongside you as we explore whatever feels important, helping you to:
-
Make sense of your thoughts and emotions
-
Notice patterns that may no longer serve you
-
Reconnect with parts of yourself that may feel lost or unheard
-
Move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-awareness.
You are the expert in your own life; therapy can help you hear yourself more clearly.
Psychotherapy and counselling are both forms of talking therapy that offer a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences.
You may be coming to therapy because something feels overwhelming, painful, or confusing.
Perhaps you're seeking deeper self-understanding, support through a life transition, or simply time and space to reflect.
Counselling tends to focus on current issues and practical support, while psychotherapy can also explore deeper patterns, past experiences, and how they may be shaping your present. In practice, they often overlap — and we’ll work in a way that suits you.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Talking things through with a trained, compassionate professional can help you feel clearer, more connected to yourself, and better able to cope.
